What is it?
A landmark of luxury and elegance, Burlington Arcade is one of London’s most iconic shopping experiences.
Where is it?
Stretching from Piccadilly to Burlington Gardens in Mayfair just a short walk from Native Mayfair.
What you’ll find
Opened in 1819 and still oozing old-world charm, Burlington Arcade is London’s original luxury shopping destination. Commissioned by Lord George Cavendish, the arcade was designed as a refined retail promenade and more than 200 years later, it’s lost none of its allure.
Behind its wrought-iron gates, you’ll find a beautifully preserved, glass-roofed walkway lined with independent boutiques, heritage jewellers, luxury perfumers and artisan watchmakers. From bespoke scents to hand-cut gemstones, this is where craftsmanship takes centre stage.
You’ll also spot the famous Beadles, the arcade’s own uniformed guardians who’ve patrolled the arcade since the 19th century. The architecture, the tradition, the attention to detail it all combines to create a uniquely London experience.
One-liner
A timeless Mayfair classic, where heritage meets high-end retail.
